Aroma- Therapists, Aromatherapy Oils and Massage

Posted under Aromatherapy, Massage - Apr 25th, 09

There are so many ways of using Aromatherapy oils which can enhance a person in their every day life.
Herbs which are found in hedgerows and woods are the source of the essential oils used in healing in a massage treatment by a qualified masseur.
Once the tissues of the skin absorb the essential oils the liquid is distributed to every part of the body which requires healing.
The sweeping movements in a massage treatment rubs the skin and the masseurs hand movements set off the aromas which are picked up by the nasal passages, sending them through the bloodstream.
Another way of healing ailments is by inhalation. The essential oils are inhaled while the massage treatment is in process.
Clients have the right to choose the oils with the aromas or scents they like. However if the treatment is aimed at healing a specific disease the choice is limited to essential oils which will help.
Aromatherapy oils can be used in beauty treatments to enhance skin problems.
Usually a therapist will give any leftovers of massage oil to a client for home use.
Do research popular effective oils such as Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Citrus and Lavender

Warning: Inform your masseur if you think you may be pregnant.
