Happy New Year to your new Body for 2009

It is that time of the year again when we promise our bodies and ourselves that we will change and look after them.

As a society we worship the altar of weight loss but every year we decide to try again to reduce the weight we have gained over the last year.

One of the things that are common nowadays is an obsession with weight and for some people it can lead to dangerous behaviours and habits.

Check this list out and see if you have any eating issues:

1. Eat when you are unhappy. This is a habit that needs breaking by using hypnotherapy. If you feel you can alter your boredom yourself try keeping busy.

2. Obsessive weighing makes you think of your weight issues all the time. Check out how your clothes are fitting instead.

3. Do not eat and then think you can take a laxative to get rid of the evidence so to speak. Do not over-exercise.

4. Cutting out carbs altogether is not a good way to eating a healthy and balanced diet.

Stop looking at skinny celebs and concentrate of setting a reasonable target to aim for and if you are unsure of the correct diet. There are qualified nutritionists who can be of assistance in keeping and achieving your New Year resolution.
