When we have had a shower in the morning we feel refreshed and then a couple of hours later if you catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror you notice the skin tone is looking a bit dull and when you feel the skin you find the texture is poor, and wonder how to improve it.
There are numerous ways to change your routine and to feel as though you have just stepped out of a spa or had an exclusive treatment with a health and beauty practioner.
One of the important areas to watch out for is a sluggish lymphatic system so water is on the menu and drinking enough to be comfortable with the intake that suits you as it can be the cause of the bumpy skin bits that we call cellulite (the dreaded word) which can unfortunately appear on our thighs, buttocks and arms.
However help is at hand in the form of a body brush. Dry skin brushing before you shower or before you rub the skin with a body moisturiser can help the circulation and get the lymphatic fluids moving. This will eliminate toxins in your body. You should try to change your daily routine to include the following.
• Using a long handled brush and make long sweeping strokes over the body avoiding any broken skin, sores or delicate skin
• If you are feeling brave, have a quick blast of cold water before leaving the shower. This closes pores quickly and kick starts your system
• Try to eliminate certain drinks such as coffee, alcohol, fizzy drinks and replace with water, fresh fruit or herbal teas
